Part-Time Role
To deliver a legally compliant, safe, and customer-focused environment within a staffed building, ensuring agreed levels of service. This includes managing day-to-day building operations, supervising supply partners, and handling scheduled and reactive maintenance via Cushman & Wakefield’s CAFM system. The role also involves being an ambassador for Cushman & Wakefield, acting as the first point of contact for occupiers and maintaining regular communication.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Helpdesk Management: Interface with the CAFM system and Service Desk to ensure timely responses to work orders and accurate system updates.
2. Complaints Handling: Resolve complaints promptly, communicate effectively with stakeholders, and recommend service improvements.
3. Compliance: Ensure buildings remain legally compliant with all inspections and repairs completed on time.
4. CDM Regulations: Manage works under CDM requirements, appointing a principal contractor where necessary.
5. Health & Safety: Conduct and action annual risk assessments (e.g., asbestos, fire, water treatment) and ensure adherence to safety standards.
6. Occupier Liaison: Manage queries, attend meetings, and maintain strong relationships to enhance the occupier experience.
7. Supplier Management: Oversee contractor activities, ensure compliance with policies, and conduct regular performance reviews.
8. Service Charge Management: Develop and manage budgets, reconciliations, and variance reports in line with RICS standards.
9. Sustainability Reporting: Ensure sustainability platforms are updated and routine reporting is completed promptly.
10. Emergency Preparedness: Develop and review incident management plans and test them periodically.
Core Knowledge & Experience:
1. Proven track record in Facilities Management.
2. Leadership skills to manage and motivate a team.
3. Experience in budgeting, cost control, and service charge management.
4. Strong understanding of occupier and relationship management.
5. Familiarity with CAFM systems such as Meridian and E-Logbooks.
6. Knowledge of current legislation relevant to Facilities Management.
7. Proficiency in IT (MS Office Suite).

Qualifications:
1. IWFM Level 4 Certificate.
