Project Manager - Fire Door Specialist
Reddbrick has a fantastic opportunity for a Passive Fire Door Project Manager to join a regional business that requires a Passive Fire Door Specialist overseeing fire door installation, with experience in certified fire doors including BM Trada, Firas, etc.
The Fire Door Project Manager candidate will provide consistent high-quality support and assistance to the Operations Team in the Midlands Region, overseeing a number of project sites.
Fire Door Project Manager Duties
The main duties within this position include:
* Assisting the Contracts Manager in the delivery of multiple projects across the Midlands
* Liaising with clients
* Organising site operatives
* Overseeing project programmes
* Health and safety and quality control
This is a demanding role requiring excellent organisational and communication skills and an ability to work within a busy environment. A flexible approach is key, as well as being assertive and using initiative.
Experienced fire door specialists, including installers and surveyors who are looking to progress their career into project management, are also encouraged to apply.
Fire Door Project Manager Roles and Responsibilities
* Managing both small works and projects up to £2m
* Managing trades and subcontractors
* Leading the project team
* Client liaison during live site
* Tracking and monitoring client variations
* Ability to review and follow program construction works
* Able to review drawings of all disciplines
* Taking responsibility for health & safety on site – reviewing and implementing RAMS/Toolbox talks
Fire Door Project Manager Requirements
* Good organisational skills
* Good communication skills
* Knowledge of BM Trada, Firas, or other certified fire door schemes
* Experience as a joiner including installation of fire doors - e.g. FD30, FD60 and rectification works
* Good level of IT ability (Word, Email, Excel, Microsoft Projects)
* BM Trada or industry equivalent qualifications
* CSCS, SSSTS/SMSTS, First Aid, Asbestos Awareness Certificates advantageous
