The Children's Rapid Response Service works collaboratively with the Community Children's Nursing & Palliative Care Team: It is the team's primary aim to prevent and reduce hospital attendances, admissions and length of stay for children already known to the Community Children's Nursing & Palliative Team. The emphasis of this service is to improve the quality of life for children and families with complex healthcare needs, offering them greater choice around their chosen place of care.
