Job Description
Manage shift resources to execute on operational plans with safety, customer service, environmental performance and manufacturing efficiency being key drivers and KPIs.
* Coordinates resources to achieve production plans, monitors progress and investigates investigates, resolves and communicates issues impacting the efficient achievement of plans.
* Actively promotes and leads all routine and non-routine safety, environmental and continuous improvement activities and initiatives with direct reports and all support functions on shift.
* Accurately communicates progress against plan, deviations from plan and suspected causes to operations management.
* Manages behaviour and development of direct reports – attendance management, productivity and quality management, and behavioural management and creates individual improvement and development plans as required.
Qualifications
* Recommended minimum of 2 or more years manufacturing experience

* Must be able to communicate effectively.
* Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.
* Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram or schedule form.
* Must have knowledge of Database software; Design software; Internet software, MS Office software to include Word, Excel, Access and PowerPoint.
* Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts.
