Your Role, Your Impact As an Operational Support Administrator, you will be responsible for a portfolio of loss claims, ensuring they are completed in a professional, efficient and timely manner to customers working with internal departments, insurers, contractors, surveyors and loss adjustors Key Responsibilities: Manage loss claims for communal damage by responding to purchase orders, emails, and calls. Assess whether to pursue claims based on insurance terms, excess, and insured perils. Build relationships with customers, Property Managers, contractors, and stakeholders to resolve issues and provide updates. Communicate regularly with internal teams to support customer queries and estate finances. Assist with major incidents, ensuring safety and keeping customers informed. Monitor claim progress, raise maintenance orders, and collect necessary documentation. Manage insurance and reinstatement cost assessments, obtain quotes, and raise purchase orders. Provide guidance to colleagues on the claims process and support the business as needed. Required Skills & Qualifications: GCSEs (or equivalent) in English and Maths at Grade C or above Exceptional communicator, verbal and written Experience of working in a busy and demanding environment within insurance or service sector along within the building and/or property sector advantageous Familiar with Microsoft Word and Excel Personal organisation in the face of sometimes conflicting demands Discipline to work on own initiative as well as demonstrating exceptional teamwork What’s in it for you?
