Data Analyst – Entry levelLocation: Shropshire TF6 / Remote with monthly visits into the office Salary: Up to £23,000 (depending on age and experience) My client, a tech first company based in Shropshire, is recruiting for an Entry-Level Data Analyst to join their Business Intelligence & Automation team. This position comes with a range of responsibilities, with additional training and support provided for the right candidate. The focus of the role will be on collecting, cleaning, and storing data, building data models and performing detailed analyses using tools such as Power BI and T-SQL. Data Analyst Key Responsibilities: Data collection and management - collecting and cleaning data from various sources. Data Modelling - Being involved in the analytics operation by creating, developing and maintaining data models. Data analysis - help to identify trends, patterns and insights in the data Reporting and Visualisation – create dashboards and reports to communicate findings and facilitating data-driven decision-making at all levels. Collaboration - working closely with other teams and departments Data Analyst Skills: A-Level qualification (or equivalent) in a relevant subject (IT, Computer Science, Mathematics, or Statistics). Excellent communication skills. A genuine passion for technology. Ability to work remotely. Experience with SQL, Azure, and Microsoft Power BI (would be a significant advantage). Other skills in structured and unstructured data like JSON, CSV, Tabular, relational would be ideal but not essential Experience with Microsoft applications – Excel, SharePoint, Teams The role is primarily remote, but travel to the office for meetings is required once a month.
