We are looking for a skilled Web Designer to support a major website migration for a well-known organisation that operates in the charitable giving and prize-draw sector. This business raises significant funds for good causes across the UK, with a strong focus on community impact and player engagement.
Responsibilities:
* Build and manage web pages within a new CMS platform.
* Transfer and format content and imagery from the existing website to the new platform.
* Quickly learn and apply custom CMS components to structure pages effectively.
* Identify and report CMS errors, working with the team to find workarounds.
* Ensure best practices in web design, user experience, and accessibility.
* Make minor content edits and refinements as needed.
* Use basic Photoshop skills for simple image adjustments such as cropping and resizing.
* Collaborate with multiple stakeholders, incorporating feedback effectively.
* Maintain strong attention to detail to ensure accuracy and consistency.
* Organise and manage multiple pages efficiently.
Requirements:
* Experience working with CMS platforms, ideally Storyblok or similar.
* Basic copywriting and content editing skills.
* Familiarity with Photoshop or similar tools for minor image adjustments.
* Strong attention to detail and a focus on quality.
* Ability to manage multiple tasks in parallel.
* A problem-solving mindset, particularly when working with an evolving CMS.
* Knowledge of web design best practices, including accessibility standards.
* Ability to work collaboratively and adapt to feedback from various stakeholders.
