Description Attendance Officer (Band 5, Term-Time) 8.45am to 3.15pm (with 1 hour break throughout the day) – 27.5 hours per week Start Date: As soon as possible Do you have a knack for organisation, a friendly approach, and the ability to chase up attendance without sounding like a detective? If so, we’d love to hear from you We’re on the lookout for a confident and approachable Attendance Officer to join our Office and Welfare team. Your role will be vital in ensuring our pupils are in school, on time, and ready to learn. You'll work closely with families, pupils, and staff to track, monitor, and support attendance across the school. What We’re Looking For: Excellent communication skills – you’ll be working directly with parents and carers. The ability to build strong relationships – we need someone who can encourage and support families while maintaining a firm but fair approach. Good IT skills – keeping records up to date is key Essential qualifications. GCSE Grade C (or equivalent) in English and Maths.
