About the Role
We are looking for someone to assist the recruitment consultants with HR and recruitment administration, and candidate resourcing. This will include:
1. Posting adverts to job boards
2. Arranging interviews
3. Screening candidates over the phone
4. Creating long and shortlists of candidates for roles
5. Managing payroll and responding to queries
6. Proofreading and formatting CVs
7. Uploading candidates to the CRM
8. Drafting employment contracts from a template
9. Completing right to work checks
10. Conducting reference requests
Alongside these HR and recruitment duties, you can also get involved with a number of our other initiatives:
1. Assisting with event planning, from round table breakfasts on specific topics to large client events and virtual events while still in lockdown
2. Creating blog and social media content with a focus on assisting social mobility in law
3. Participating in volunteering and pro bono activities, perhaps at a legal advice clinic, or we have links with Dress for Success and Inspire!
4. Assisting with ensuring we are conducting business in a sustainable way with minimal impact on the environment
About You
You have to be a people person as you will be interacting with a range of individuals every day! Strong communication and customer service skills are key, along with a real passion for working in HR and an interest in the legal sector. We are looking for someone who shares our values and ethos.
If you have a law degree, that would be an advantage, as would any internships or work experience in HR or recruitment. The role may also suit a paralegal looking to move into HR.
We have a great training programme and for someone who is eager and dedicated, we can help you become the best HR and recruitment assistant you can be!
