Essential criteria
1. Recognised professional qualification in a mental health profession - Mental Health Nursing/Social Work/OT
Experience
Essential criteria
2. Therapeutic experience with mental health clients with challenging behaviour
3. Group skills
4. Teaching skills
5. Positive experience of supervision and reflective practice
Desirable criteria
6. Mindfulness practice
7. Research experience
Skills, abilities and knowledge
Essential criteria
8. To have acquired skills relevant to application of DBT principles and practice
9. Supervised experience in the practice of DBT skills
10. To have acquired demonstrable knowledge of DBT principles, practice and process
Additional requirements

11. Demonstrable skills in written and spoken English, adequate to enable the post holder to carry out the role effectively.
