We are looking to recruit an Area Operations Manager responsible for ensuring the high standard of cleaning services provided to Sainsbury's stores in the Frome.
Our Area Operations Managers work 40 hours per week which will include some weekend and evening working £35,000 PA.
You'll be managing the team responsible for delivering a high-quality cleaning service to the Sainsbury's stores in your area.
Working collaboratively with the wider team at our sites, you'll liaise daily with the client, attend meetings as required by the Area Operations Manager and proactively ensure that the many parts of our service fit together for a seamless customer experience.
You'll allocate tasks and responsibilities and carry out regular meetings with direct reports, assisting effective two-way communication and ensuring all colleagues are well presented and ambassadors of the Arcus values & behaviours. There will also be a need for you to carry out appropriate induction of new colleagues, maintaining close contact throughout their probationary period to ensure full support is given to help them achieve the required standards and levels of productivity.
You will maintain budgetary control of the use of all cleaning equipment and materials, ensuring that existing equipment is clean and in safe working order and that materials are used correctly and completing the appropriate documentation in line with Quality Assurance.
Health & Safety is our No.1 priority, so you'll ensure this is monitored and managed - not just for yourself, but for all others on site. This includes Safe Systems of Work, COSHH Regulations and PPE compliance.
To be successful in this varied role you'll have:
* Significant experience in a regional cleaning role ideally with a FM provider
* Experience of managing teams across multiple locations, including responsibility for managing employee relations, absence and underperformance issues.
* Budget management experience
* Experience of managing senior stakeholders and ensuring an exceptional client experience
* Ability to represent the company in a professional and competent manner at all times
* Ability to prioritise a complex and demanding workload
Due to the nature of the role, a full UK driving licence is essential.
