Job Description: As a day-to-day cover teacher, you will be responsible for delivering engaging and effective lessons across a range of primary school age groups. You will step into various classrooms, covering for absent staff members, ensuring continuity in the students' learning experience. The school is looking for someone who can maintain a calm and supportive learning environment, manage classroom behaviour effectively, and keep students engaged and motivated. You will also be part of promoting the school’s beliefs and values to your pupils. Key Responsibilities: Deliver high-quality lessons according to the school’s curriculum. Ensure a safe and supportive classroom environment for all students. Maintain excellent standards of classroom management. Provide constructive feedback on student progress. Work closely with teaching assistants to support student needs. Adapt teaching strategies to meet the needs of diverse learners. Ensure that students are engaged and progressing in their learning during your time in the classroom. Person Specification: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent. Previous primary school teaching experience is essential. Strong classroom management skills and the ability to adapt to different environments. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
