Regional Sales Manager - North East & Scotland
About The Role
Do you have a proven track record of delivering and achieving targets within the major account arena, driving business forward and enhancing growth? We are looking for an experienced Regional Sales Manager to join our Motor Finance team.
Purpose of the role
To plan and develop a sales strategy within your territory by identifying, engaging and maintaining relationships with existing and new Introducers. The aim will be to engage with dealers and brokers across our range of products therefore Motor, LCV and Leisure markets that will enhance Paragon Motor Finance’s market share and reputation at the required level of return.
You will provide your introducers with consultative account management, providing training and support to help grow their business. This style of account management will add significant value to our introducers whilst maximising sales at the required margin for Paragon.
You must possess a proven track record of delivering and achieving targets within the Motor Finance sector, driving business forward and enhancing growth.
Duties and responsibilities
* To find and recruit new dealers and brokers via several channels i.e. converting leads provided to you, using your own contacts and self-generating new acquisition opportunities.
* Able to present and negotiate up to Director level.
* To take key responsibility for introducer relationships within your geographical area, growing volume / support of the desired quality.
* Able to build and develop long lasting relationships / trust between the introducer and lender.
* To achieve new business targets at the required level of return as advised.
* In association with Management, to monitor profitability by way of product mix, arrears, redemption rates and recommend action where required.
* To fully utilise the integrated sales management system to demonstrate your activity, achievements and planning.
* To be fully aware of the regulatory requirements of our introducers and to provide feedback / training immediately raising any issues / concerns re compliance with your line manager to mitigate risk.
* To gain and share introducer feedback to develop and or improve any new or existing processes and or loan products.
* To deliver decisions to introducers in an empathetic, confident and knowledgeable manner.
* To liaise with the underwriting and support teams to ensure PMF service standards are being met at the highest possible standard.
* The position is field based, you are required to be located within your defined territory and you should hold a full, clean driving license.

Qualifications and experience
You must have previously worked in a targeted environment and have proven sales skills. The position is field based and you should hold a full driving license.
Working hours
37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 8.30am to 5.00pm (one hour for lunch). A flexible approach to working hours is required.
