Are you an experienced Primary School SEN Teaching Assistant seeking a new position in a Primary School based in Barnet?
Primary School SEN Teaching Assistant Responsibilities:
* Providing one-on-one support to students with SEN, helping them with their academic and social development.
* Assisting in the planning and implementation of individual education plans (IEPs) for students with SEN.
* Supporting students during classroom activities, ensuring they are fully engaged and able to participate to the best of their abilities.
* Collaborating with teachers, parents, and other professionals to create a supportive and inclusive learning environment.
* Monitoring and recording the progress of students with SEN, and providing feedback to the teaching team.
Qualifications and Skills:
* Previous experience working with children with SEN is highly desirable.
* Teaching Assistant & Childcare Level 1/2/3 qualifications.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with students, parents, and colleagues.
* Patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for supporting the needs of all students.
* A proactive and flexible approach to work, with the ability to adapt to the changing needs of students and the school environment.
