As the Fire and Emergency Planning Manager, you will provide fire safety, emergency planning, and business continuity expertise to colleagues across GTR. You will represent GTR with key external partners including London Fire Brigade and various Local Resilience Forums, ensuring GTR fulfils its legal responsibilities through the Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order and the Civil Contingencies Act.
You will work with colleagues across GTR to ensure plans are legally compliant, tested, and accessible. Working with industry stakeholders, you will ensure relevant industry guidance is reflected across GTR's suite of plans. You'll represent GTR at external forums such as Local Resilience Forums to ensure rail-specific risks are considered and fulfil our responsibilities under the Civil Contingencies Act to communicate and cooperate with the emergency services and other partners. You'll work closely with the fire authorities, including London Fire Brigade.
