The Training Support Officer is responsible for providing specialist support, advice and guidance within relevant educational services and support eg planning, enrolment, exams, careers, apprenticeship, digital and library services, SpLD, resettlement etc. to support the delivery of an outstanding learner experience. Job title: Training Support Officer (Templater & Timetabler) Job Description: What you'll be doing: Creating and producing the Long-Term training plan for all courses Assisting in creating, scheduling of course templates Assisting, where required, in the updating of course templates as a result of change administered through the various contracted change mechanisms Publishing course dates on the Joint Personnel Admin system Providing the necessary levels of administrative support for visits, guest lecturers, external venues, courses within courses during the timetabling and planning process What we're looking for: Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written Previous experience in an Administration/Coordination role, preferably within an education setting Ability to build rapports with stakeholders, at all levels Experience within the military would be an advantage Knowledge of database such as, JPA and TAFMIS, would be an advantage but not essential Proactive attitude with the ability to 'think outside the box' Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office, including Word and Excel and experience of using databases Must be able to be security cleared to UK SC level About Selborne Selborne is a wide scale, 12 year transformation of Royal Navy Training. The contract worth GBP 1 billion was awarded in December 2020 to a consortium led by Capita to deliver and modernise training for the RN.
