Our client is currently seeking a Site Manager to join their team, working on Severn Trent Water projects in Leicester. This is a contract position over a 12-month period.
Key Responsibilities:
Overseeing daily site operations and ensuring effective management of all civil engineering activities
Ensuring compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations
Coordinating with project teams and stakeholders to ensure project milestones and quality standards are met
Managing site resources, including labour, materials, and equipment
Monitoring project progress and preparing regular reports
Implementing risk management strategies and mitigating potential issues
Conducting site inspections and ensuring adherence to design specifications
Liaising with clients, consultants, and subcontractors to ensure smooth project delivery
Job Requirements:
Experience in civil engineering, particularly within the water sector
Strong knowledge of site management principles and practices
Understanding of health, safety, and environmental regulations
Excellent organisational and problem-solving skills
Effective communication and interpersonal abilities
Proficiency in project management software and tools
Relevant construction or engineering qualifications
