Role Description
This is a full-time Mortgage Adviser role based in Newark-On-Trent, Nottinghamshire at Fiducia Comprehensive Financial Planning Ltd. The Mortgage Adviser will be responsible for providing mortgage advice, financial planning, and marketing mortgage products to clients on a daily basis.
Role Overview
We are seeking a qualified and client-focused Mortgage Advisor to join our team. The successful candidate will provide expert mortgage advice, guiding clients through the mortgage application process while ensuring compliance with financial regulations.
Key Responsibilities
1. Assess clients’ financial situations to recommend suitable mortgage products.
2. Advise clients on mortgage options, including residential, buy-to-let, and remortgage solutions.
3. Liaise with lenders, solicitors, and other stakeholders to facilitate smooth mortgage applications.
4. Stay up to date with mortgage products, interest rates, and regulatory requirements.
5. Ensure compliance with FCA regulations and company policies.
6. Provide exceptional client service, maintaining long-term relationships and delivering regular reviews.
7. Identify opportunities for additional financial services, such as protection or insurance products.
Skills & Experience Required
1. CeMAP (Certificate in Mortgage Advice and Practice) qualification or equivalent.
2. Proven experience as a Mortgage Advisor, preferably within a financial services firm.
3. Strong knowledge of mortgage products, lenders, and application processes.
4. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build trust with clients.
5. Ability to explain complex financial information in a clear and client-friendly manner.
6. High ethical and professional standards in line with FCA regulations.
7. Self-motivated with strong attention to detail and the ability to work independently.
8. Ability to work effectively in a team.
