This is a fantastic opportunity to join the leading corporate finance and deal advisory team in the region. It’s an incredibly exciting time for our firm. Our team have had a stellar 2024. We retained our position as the No.1 adviser in Northern Ireland per Experian’s deal volume league tables. We successfully advised on and completed some of the largest transactions in the region, and have led the way in the rapidly growing area of Employee Ownership Trust transactions. Additionally, we recently agreed a merger with Grant Thornton US in a deal backed by New Mountain Capital. The Deal Advisory team in Grant Thornton has extensive experience in all aspects of corporate finance from mergers and acquisitions, due diligence and transaction advisory services, valuations and raising capital & business planning. Main responsibilities will include some or all the following: Managing and driving corporate sale and purchase assignments for clients; Supporting on Employee Ownership Trust transactions including deal structuring and finance raising; Managing due diligence assignments and detailed financial reviews for clients including leading corporates and private equity firms; Managing the preparation of robust valuation reports; Supporting clients with, and managing debt and equity raising; Financial modelling and financial model reviews; Providing value to our clients through experienced insights, factual conclusions and advice; Liaising and working closely with clients, funders, financial institutions, solicitors and other parties; Supporting with preparation and delivery of presentations and marketing initiatives. Skills and attributes: Ideally a minimum 3 years’ post qualification experience; ACA qualified or equivalent; Knowledge and previous experience in Corporate Finance or Audit Department Excellent communication skills Team ethos and can-do attitude Life at GT What does this mean for you?
