Our client is currently seeking to recruit an experienced Finishing Foreman ideally from a Carpentry / Joinery background to manage the finishing / snagging stage of a large project in Birmingham focusing on the finishes of the building and assisting the Site Manager with the day to day communication and organisation of Health and Safety on site and Labour movements and ensure everything is complete, snag free and ready for handover. This position is to start on Monday 3rd March and will run up until the middle of June. We are seeking an experienced tradesman with recent supervisory experience who is prepared to inspect new build houses and create full snagging lists for the tradesmen / finishers. You will then be required to manage and supervise a team of finishers to ensure that the properties are complete and in perfect condition to be ready for handover on time to new occupants. We are also seeking someone who from time to time is prepared to assist on the tools to ensure that properties are completed on time. You will have worked for a major developer most recently and have at least 3 years of experience of working for such a company. There is 6 weeks work for the right candidate and you must be able to commit to the full contract duration to include long hours and weekends. In order to be considered for this position you will require. CSCS / SMSTS / SSSTS. First Aid Certificate (preferable) Own PPE & Tools.
