Job Description:
We are searching for a Lead Veterinary Surgeon with ideally at least 5 years’ UK small animal experience (or UK equivalent).
The veterinary practice has been purpose built and is divided into 3 floors. It is very modern, with lots of natural light including a fantastic staff room. This practice offers a full range of veterinary services and is equipped with state-of-the-art equipment including separate dog and cat wards, digital x-ray, ultrasound, endoscopy, and K laser.
We are looking for a clinically strong Veterinary Surgeon with leadership experience and strong medical and surgical skills. Candidates with a specific area of interest or certificate holders will be considered. There is already one Cardiology certificate holder as well as another vet with a certificate in Ophthalmology. This role would also be suitable for someone considering becoming a Branch Partner.
This role covers 40 hours a week, including weekend shifts (1:3 Saturdays or 1:6 weekends). This is a 4-day week role which offers a great work/life balance.
Location details: The New Cross veterinary practice is located in South East London, 4.5 miles from Charing Cross, and is served by two railway stations and the London Overground.
