Chipping Norton STW Flow Compliance – Thames Water North
We’re seeking a forward-thinking Civils General Foreman to take the lead on an exciting new project based in Chipping Norton, Oxfordshire, as part of ongoing works on the Thames Water Framework.
This is a key leadership role suited to someone who combines strong civil construction knowledge with modern site management skills. The ideal candidate will not only know how to get the best out of a team, but will also be computer and IT literate, with the ability to work confidently with digital systems, documentation, and project reporting tools.
You will be responsible for safely planning and coordinating daily site activities, ensuring compliance, and delivering high-quality results on a technically varied and fast-moving project.
Minimum Requirements:

CPCS Gold Card – Supervisor
*
SMSTS (Site Management Safety Training Scheme)
*
Thames Water Passport (can be arranged if not yet held)
*
First Aid at Work
*
Strong computer and IT skills – confident with digital tools, communication platforms, and project systems
*
Additional relevant training or qualifications are welcomed.
Job-specific training can be provided to support project delivery.
Project Brief:
*
Modify inlet works to manage peak flows of 500 l/s, including storm flow separation and screening plant installation.
*
Ensure reliable wash water provision for screening and screenings handling.
*
Enable new FtFT of 73 l/s with active flow control.
*
Manage and return all site liquors downstream of storm separation and PFF flow measurement.
*
Construct a new Final Settlement Tank and flow split chamber, with all associated pipework.
*
Remove existing Copasac frame from Final Effluent sampling chamber.
*
Upgrade/replace ICA telemetry outstation to latest Thames Water standards
