We're a growing Facilities Management company seeking a person with a curiosity for data to join us as a Data Analyst Apprentice. You'll support our team by working with data to drive insights and decision-making. You will gain hands-on experience in data collection, processing and analysis while ensuring compliance with security regulations.

Data Analysts have an important role to play in looking at how data can be used to answer questions and to solve problems. It involves gathering information, inspecting, informing conclusions and supporting decision making through using evidence-based information. You’ll gain hands-on experience with data analytical tools, learn how to interpret data, develop professional skills like problem-solving, teamwork and communication and contribute towards operational efficiencies. Day to day your tasks will show you how to:
• Collect, organise, and analyse data from various sources.
• Cleanse and transform data into structured formats for analysis.
• Use advanced analytical tools and techniques to uncover valuable insights.
• Create compelling data visualisations to communicate findings.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand their data needs and deliver data-driven solutions.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and developments in data analysis.

* Use data systems securely to meet requirements and in line with organisational procedures and legislation including principles of Privacy by Design
* implement the stages of the data analysis lifecycle
* apply principles of data classification within data analysis activity
* analyse data sets taking account of different data structures and database designs
* assess the impact on user experience and domain context on data analysis activity
* identify and escalate quality risks in data analysis with suggested mitigation or resolutions as appropriate
* undertake customer requirements analysis and implement findings in data analytics planning and outputs
* identify data sources and the risks and challenges to combination within data analysis activity
* apply organizational architecture requirements to data analysis activities
* apply statistical methodologies to data analysis tasks
* apply predictive analytics in the collation and use of data
* collaborate and communicate with a range of internal and external stakeholders using appropriate styles and behaviours to suit the audience
* use a range of analytical techniques such as data mining, time series forecasting and modelling techniques to identify and predict trends and patterns in data
* collate and interpret qualitative and quantitative data and convert into infographics, reports, tables, dashboards and graphs
* select and apply the most appropriate data tools to achieve the optimum outcome

Your training plan
You will get protected study time to undertake your apprenticeship studies and you'll also learn by shadowing and guidance from our experienced team on the job. You will be assigned a personal tutor by the training provider and all learning will be delivered remotely while based at our offices by one of the country's leading apprenticeship providers.
