Role Overview
The Tourism, Leisure, and Events Assistant role is varied and interesting and includes responsibility for team administration, including setting up new instructions (files, conflict of interest checks etc) finance, fee forecasting, minuting of meetings. In addition, the Assistant will be expected to carry out national and local market research to support our report writing, to include desk based competitor analyses.
This is a flexible, part time role based on two days per week. We will require the Assistant to work some or all of the time in a Savills office (ideally alongside one of the consultants), but there may be possible for some of the weekly time commitment to be home based.
* Setting up of new instructions including digital folders, COI checks, timesheets
* Monthly invoicing (plus remote attendance of Finance Administrators meetings)
* Management of TLE fee sheet and fee forecasting
* Monitoring and reporting on aged time and disbursements
* Monitoring of debtors
* Liaising with team re electronic files and audits as and when required
* Updating TLE mailing list(s) on Dynamics
* Scheduling and minute taking for TLE quarterly meetings
* Helping put together research material for our Spotlight and Market in Minutes publications
* Competitor analysis for client reports (looking at local wedding venues, holiday accommodation etc) via website research and populating existing template form
* Helping to pull together client reports – setting up template, proof reading

Team Overview
The Savills Tourism, Leisure and Events team help private and institutional landowners establish and develop leisure enterprises, including visitor attractions, wedding venues, holiday accommodation and glamping and outdoor events & festivals
Our team of three consultants all come from a management and operational experience in these leisure sectors and are based in Worcester, Salisbury and Edinburgh.
