About the job Job summary The Service Delivery Group was set up to provide performance and financial management of the Hard Facility Management and Alongside Services (Hard FM & ALS) and Soft Facility Management Contracts at HMNB Clyde, under the Future Maritime Support Programme (FMSP) Are you experienced in providing performance and financial management of contracts? If so, we would love to hear from you, as we are now looking to fill a Performance Manager role within the Service Delivery Group. This position is advertised at 37 hours per week. Job description We have an exciting opportunity to fill a Performance Manager role within the Service Delivery Group. The successful candidate will be given training and benefit from a comprehensive range of benefits associated with the Civil Service. The role provides pivotal, timely, accurate and effective performance and financial management of key elements of the Soft FM contract at HMNB Clyde. It requires a flexible, customer focused approach, someone who is comfortable and thrives in a changeable environment, whilst maintaining oversight of contracted output with Industry. The successful candidate will have a strong continuous improvement ethos and will be adaptable to embrace new technologies and the digital automation of processes. You will be collaborating with commercial partners, Military personnel, and MOD stakeholders to deliver Soft Facility Management outputs. Person specification Previous experience of managing contract performance, including contract financial data is required along with effective communication and inter-personal skills and a proven ability to work across a wide range of stakeholders at all levels The main responsibilities of the posts are: 1. Support to the Senior Performance Manager in the performance management of the contracts ensuring allocated area of the contracted outputs are met. (Outputs, KPIs, Deliverables, Obligations etc.). 2. Support to the Senior Performance Manager in the financial management of the contracts ensuring contract financial data, pricing structure and data, contract changes, benefit realisation etc. of allocated area align with the contract and any applicable regulations. 3. Support to the Senior Performance in the management of contract changes relevant to allocated area of the contracts, ensuring approved Customer requirements are enacted into the contract, including support to Business Case development, analysis and updating all relevant contract documents, as appropriate. 4. Management of MOD obligations relevant to allocated area of the contracts ensuring they are met (Authority Responsibilities) and the management of Government Furnished Assets relevant to the contracts. 5. Support to the Senior Performance Manager in managing benefits identified in the contract, including any transition activity, to ensure they are met. Provide support to the collaboration with requirement owners and Industry in identifying and implementing further improvement initiatives. 6. User of FMSP contract management systems, such as COMPASS, MIDAS, and CP&F, ensuring information contained within is updated, correct, authorised etc., as per the system processes. Provide data analysis as required to support governance processes. 7. Conduct physical checks, audits, samples, etc. of contracted outputs /deliverables to ensure they are being met. Provide information and advice to users to ensure contracted outputs are communicated and understood, across HMNB Clyde. 8. Provide cover, as required, for other contracts being managed by the Service Delivery Group.
