Position Summary: The role involves coordinating and collating papers for meetings, ensuring governance quality, and maintaining data records. Responsibilities include facilitating internal meetings and supporting the ADO/HoEPRR at external events with key stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Provide governance support to the EPRR team and produce analytical reports for departmental and Trust performance management reviews.
2. Maintain a central database of EPRR and business continuity documentation for accessibility and navigation.
3. Manage the governance cycle, including guidance and plan reviews, and circulate key information as per agreed protocols.
4. Quality assurance of EPRR-related education, presentations, and lesson plans to ensure consistency and compliance with relevant guidance.
5. Coordinate training and exercise events, and maintain training records.
6. Support the ADO/HoEPRR in budget oversight, and maintain and review Trust Emergency Plans, policies, and procedures.
7. Prepare papers for policies and plans for submission to the Risk Safety and Governance Group.
8. Assist in preparing progress reports and briefings for the Resilience Team and stakeholders regarding emergency planning and business continuity.
9. Work with EPRR teams to ensure preparedness for the Trust Regional Coordination Cell during Major Incidents.
10. Conduct research and analyze data using electronic and paper-based resources.
11. Monitor project milestones and take corrective actions as necessary.
12. Organize and manage workload independently, prioritizing urgent matters.
13. Utilize Microsoft Office and audio programs for preparing documents and correspondence.
14. Work out of hours as required to support Trust needs.
15. Engage in continual personal development and training in emergency planning and business continuity.
16. Manage EPRR-related on-call rotas.
Skills Required: Excellent organizational skills, proficiency in Microsoft Office, and the ability to work independently and manage workload effectively.
