Client Details A large manufacturing and production organisation located in Flintshire, our client is a fast growing manufacturing company who recently gained high value investment for their manufacturing site. Operating with sustainability as a core value, they are looking for a Communications specialist to join the team. Description The External Communications Manager role will involve: Develop and implement effective communication strategies that enhance the company's visibility and reputation in the market Manage relationships with media outlets to ensure accurate and positive representation of the company Craft compelling content for various platforms, including press releases, newsletters, and social media Coordinate public relations activities and events Liaise with the internal team to align communications with business objectives Monitor and analyse the effectiveness of communications strategies Handle crisis management and mitigate potential communication issues Profile A successful External Communications Manager should have: A degree in Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, or a related field Proven experience in a similar role, preferably in the industrial/manufacturing industry - although not essential. Excellent written communication skills, and experience crafting content including articles, press releases, and social media posts. A creative mind paired with the ability to make strategic data-driven decisions Experience managing external events is beneficial.
