Our client:
Our client supply process engineering solutions into the food and beverage industries across full project and operational engineering teams around the UK. They are recruiting for an experienced Project Manager, for an initial 3-month contract, with the strong likelihood of extension due to upcoming project wins.
They are looking for a Project Manager to join their team on a contract/interim basis to manage multiple key projects.
For the position of Project Manager, you will require to conduct the following daily duties:
Reporting to the Engineering Director with project updates and any problems where necessary, raising flags as early as soon possible
Producing quotations, and managing budgets
Keep a close eye on finances & schedules
Make sure the projects are completed on time
Managing multiple projects with a value up to £3million dealing with customer
Dealing with customers daily
The successful Project Manager, will need to have the following attributes:
Apprentice trained ideally to NVQ L3/HNC (desirable but not essential)
Experience with process engineering, preferably food / beverage
A strong communicator, leader, organised, flexible mindset, strive for excellence
Strong background in costing & estimating jobs
Flexible to work in the office/on-site where required.
