Read on Position: Customer Telesales Executive Location: Glasgow Office, 16 Lawmoor Road, Glasgow, G5 0UL Job type: Full-Time, Permanent Hours: 39.5 hours per week, Monday - Friday Salary: £ 24,648 per annum plus on-target earnings (up to £400 per month) About the role: An excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced telesales executive to join us here at Matthew Algie on a permanent full time basis with fixed Monday - Friday shifts. The successful applicant will join a team whose responsibility is to maximise the effectiveness of our Coffee Sales Managers by making high quality sales calls to a variety of accounts in order to achieve the agreed sales targets. This sales targets will be achieved by making outbound calls from an agreed call plan and selling the most relevant range of Matthew Algie products / services to existing and new customers. Responsibilities: • Plan ahead of making calls, including completing customer checklist and reviewing account records. • Outbound calls in line with call plan to a wide variety of customers. • Support the Coffee Sales Managers. • Investigate any service issues. • Arrange call times / frequency to best suit the customers. • Ensure order information is captured accurately. • Schedule follow-up call. • Maintain all relevant administration to a high standard. • Communicate all relevant information to the Coffee Sales Managers. About you: To be considered for this position it is essential that you have relevant previous experience in a similar role such as telesales, telemarketing or prospecting professional. You’ll be a confident administrator with a track record of meeting targets in a KPI driven sales environment, or the right attitude to commit to this You will be educated to Standard Grade / GSCE or equivalent. You will be competent in all Microsoft Office packages and you will have a high level of numeracy, accuracy, and attention to detail.
