Manor Road Surgery has a vacancy for a job share, part-time practice clinical prescribing pharmacist working 22.5 hours over 3 days.
The role will be a job share with our current practice pharmacist who is now looking to reduce their hours and create a job share.
The role is well established in the practice and we have an established team of prescription administrators working with the pharmacist providing patient care and safe prescribing.
Main duties of the job
JOB SUMMARY
Responsible for supporting the partners in implementing effective prescribing and patient care within the practice, identifying areas for improvement, and initiating and managing change.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Develop and manage patient prescribing services as determined by practice policy and local and national guidance.
2. Develop and manage the prescription team, including delivery of training, in order to maximise cost-effective prescribing and improve the quality of patient care.
3. Provide clinics with patients for medication reviews and other long-term conditions.
4. Work together with the practice clinical pharmacist in post to provide joined up care.

Manor Road Surgery was established in the 1920's. We are a 14,000 patient list size practice with 8 partners and 31 staff. The practice is part of Beverley PCN and works closely with the other Beverly practices.
Staff are entitled to 5.4 weeks annual leave pro rata and eligible to join the NHS Pension scheme.
Pay will be dependent on experience.
