Job Title: Credit Controller
Location: Hinxworth (Near Biggleswade/Baldock)
Reports To: Finance Manager
Salary: £27,000 per annum
Contract: Permanent, Full-Time (37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM - 5:30 PM)
Start Date: ASAP
Key Skills & Attributes:
·Exceptional attention to detail
·Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (SAP experience is advantageous)
·Strong teamwork and collaboration skills
·Previous experience in a credit control role
·Excellent communication skills with a warm and professional telephone manner
·Must have a driving license due to the location
Key Responsibilities:
·Manage credit control processes and ensure timely customer payments
·Review and approve sales orders within credit limits
·Verify invoice accuracy and maintain up-to-date sales ledger records
·Resolve customer queries and liaise with internal teams
·Monitor debtor balances and follow up on overdue accounts
·Process new credit applications and maintain organised records
·Allocate payments and document collection efforts in SAP
·Prepare and distribute monthly customer statements
·Support finance management with reporting and analysis
·Provide cover for other accounting functions when needed
