Service Manager (Supported Housing & Trainer Tenancies)
Salary: £31,400 per year
Hours: 37.5 hours per week

The Role
We’re looking for a passionate and dynamic leader to oversee our Supported Housing service, this includes 31 units for medium-support clients and 8 units for young people (18-24) with care or homelessness experience. You’ll manage a dedicated team of at least six staff, ensuring the smooth, safe, and efficient running of 39 supported accommodation units in Exeter.
In this role, you'll take the lead in delivering high-quality, person-centred support. From maintaining health & safety standards to working closely with referral agencies and maximising occupancy, you'll be at the heart of creating a stable and supportive environment for those who need it most.

Responsibilities Include
* Provide leadership, develop and maintain vision, planning and direction that meet statutory and organisational quality standards while prioritizing the needs of our service users
* Lead the team to provide a trauma-informed approach to those in Julian House supported accommodation, empowering them to identify and develop strengths and realise personal goals
* Take responsibility for the day-to-day management of any relevant buildings, including maintenance and safety issues, ensuring that regular inspections are completed and records
* Establish effective productive relationships with key stakeholders across Devon
* Managing and monitoring KPI’s to reflect accurate and effective Support Plans and Risk Assessments

Qualifications / Requirements
* A valid UK driving licence and access to own vehicle – business insurance will be required for roles involving travel for work
* Experience working with vulnerable adults and/or people with complex needs and challenging behaviours
* Assessment, planning and caseload management of complex needs clients
