Site Engineer – Rail Project Location: Leicester Contract Duration: 12 months My client is a leading sub-contractor working on a major rail project and is currently recruiting a Site Engineer for a 12 month project. You will be responsible for managing all aspects of engineering related to the rail works and associated infrastructure packages. Site Engineer Responsibilities: Reporting to and working closely with the Project Manager and foreman. Site setup and ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations. Completing all setting out for the rail project and associated infrastructure works. Ensuring quality assurance and control across all aspects of the project. Liaising with subcontractors, suppliers, and other stakeholders. Monitoring and reporting on project progress and any potential issues. Assisting with technical support and problem-solving on-site. Site Engineer Requirements: CSCS card. SMSTS or SSSTS certification – Desirable but not essential. Previous experience in rail or civil engineering projects. Degree in Civil Engineering or Time Served (equivalent experience). Strong understanding of rail construction methods and standards.
