This opportunity resides with All-Domain Operations (ADO), a business group within HII’s Mission Technologies division.
HII-Mission Technologies is seeking a Construction Security Technician to support work on the ETOPS (European Theater Operations and Planning Services) task order to provide operational partners with professional services in support of various planning, security cooperation, assessment, analysis, and operational efforts to optimize the effectiveness of DoD missions and advance USEUCOM priorities at an enterprise level.
What You Will Do
* Read and analyze designs and blueprints, recognizing the architect’s intended use and analyzing designs and structural complexities.
* Become knowledgeable of ICD-705 security procedures and the level of security required in various parts of each facility under construction or renovation.
* Communicate and write detailed reports and analyses of problems, findings, and security situations requiring staff actions.
* Possess a high degree of individual initiative, independent decision-making, and function with minimal supervision.
* Maintain detailed daily notes during tour of duty to be submitted to the Contractor’s Team Leader for review.
What We Are Looking For
* 5 years relevant experience with a Bachelors in a related field; 3 years relevant experience with a Masters in a related field; or High School Diploma or equivalent and 9 years relevant experience.
* 5+ years of experience in construction security surveillance, technical surveillance countermeasures, or industrial security.
* 2+ years of experience providing construction services overseas for the DoD.
* Knowledge of technical surveillance countermeasures and construction principles.
* Ability to learn the principles of multiple construction disciplines, including Civil, Architectural, Mechanical, Electrical, and Electronic Engineering.
* Clearance: Must possess and maintain a TS/SCI clearance.

Physical Requirements
Office, industrial or shipboard environment. Capable of climbing ladders and tolerating confined spaces and extreme temperature variances. Lifting and moving of materials not to exceed the guidelines set for one man lift.
