Role Summary: Unified Communications Consultant
We are seeking highly skilled and DV cleared Unified Communications Consultants to join our dynamic team. This role requires on-site presence in Gloucestershire for 3 days per week. We are looking to build a team of 3-5 Consultants that are a mix of both junior and senior professionals who are passionate about delivering exceptional communication solutions.
Please note, that due to the mix of seniority in the team, we are not expecting someone to have every single skill, technology and certifications listed below.
Key Responsibilities:
* Design, Install, and Configure: Implement Cisco Unified Communications solutions, including CUCM, CUC, UCCX, and related technologies.
* Network Management: Configure and manage network elements, including BGP and PKI tunnels on Cisco ISR and ASR devices.
* Security Implementation: Manage security elements of voice core and edge nodes using Palo Alto and Cisco ISE.
* Testing and Troubleshooting: Design and execute test scripts, analyse results, and resolve issues in collaboration with the design and implementation teams.
* Customer Engagement: Identify and analyse customer requirements, provide go-live support, and maintain technical documentation.
Key Skills:
* Cisco Unified Communications: Including CUCM, CUC, UCCX, Expressway, CMS and other Cisco collaboration tools.
* VoIP Systems: Proficiency in voice over IP technologies for efficient voice communication
* Unified Messaging: Implementing integrated messaging solutions across various platforms
* Network Infrastructure: Knowledge of both wired and wireless technologies to support connectivity needs.
* Security Tools: Use of security tools like Palo Alto and Cisco ISE for managing secure communication environments
Required Qualifications:
* Certifications: CCNA Voice, CCNA Networking, CCNP Collaboration or equivalent certifications.
* Experience: Proven experience in unified communications, network management, and security implementation.
* Skills: Strong problem-solving, project management, and customer service skills.
* Clearance: Must have active DV Clearance
