Job summary The main purpose of this post is to work in partnership with our patients, carers, service users and communities to improve their experience of our services and engage with our communities, colleagues and key stakeholders to ensure Clatterbridge Cancer Centre (CCC) services are accessible to all. Main duties of the job The post holder will lead on the delivery and implementation of a new Patient and Public Experience, Engagement, Involvement and Inclusion Commitment (Strategy) 2022-2025 for CCC, ensuring that what matters to patients most, is at the forefront of our ambitions and delivery. The Head of Patient Experience & Inclusion is responsible for collating, triangulating and reporting all Trust patient experience feedback (patient surveys, patient experience narratives, FFT, PALs, Complaints, Claims etc), whilst ensuring the information is used to enable, influence and facilitate improvement across all CCC services. The post holder is expected to work at a high level, providing the Trust with expertise to ensure that CCC achieves comprehensive delivery of the National Patient Experience agenda, compliance with statutory and mandatory guidelines and frameworks and will be a source of highly specialised knowledge to support care delivery. This post will provide leadership within the Trust and wider network regarding patient information, ensuring robust accessibility for all including patients/staff and families with protected characteristics and lead the development of patient information and welfare benefits support services across all CCC sites and ensure trust compliance with national accessible information standards.
