We have exciting opportunity for a focused and motivated individual to join our Theatres Team for a fixed period of 9 months as a Theatre Clerk. You will assist in the provision of quality planned care for patients, by providing administrative assistance to the Theatre Management Team, Endoscopy and Decontamination Unit as required.
This role is ideally suited to a strong administrator, who has experience in working in a healthcare setting, excellent IT skills and the ability to work autonomously or as part of a team.
This role is a part time role working 22.5 hours per week. You will work 7am - 3pm 2 days per week between Monday and Friday.
Main duties of the job
Role Responsibilities
As a Theatre Clerk you will:
* Provide administrative support to Theatre Management Team including the production of clinical governance and utilisation reports.
* Communicate appropriately with all hospital staff and Consultants involved in the care of the patient.
* Make appointments and coordinate the Theatre Manager’s diary.
* Type letters and correspondence as instructed by the Theatre Manager.
* Attend Theatre meetings, taking the minutes in an agreed format.

* Have a good standard of general education including English and Maths.
Experience
* Have experience in working as an administrator in a healthcare setting.
