International Sales Manager

Macgregor Black are partnering with a leading toy company on the search for a International Sales Manager. This is a permanent/remote role.
As the International Sales Manager you will, be responsible for developing and executing international sales strategies, managing key accounts, and expanding the company’s reach within European retail and distribution channels. If you have a proven track record of driving sales growth across multiple European regions, along with established relationships with key retail partners, this could be the next step in your career.
Key Responsibilities
* Develop and execute a comprehensive sales strategy to drive growth across European markets, focusing on both FOB and Direct-to-Retail (DTR) models.
* Build and maintain strong relationships with key retail customers and distribution partners across Europe, identifying new business opportunities and ensuring long-term partnerships.
* Set and achieve sales targets, working closely with local distributors and retail partners to maximise revenue and market penetration for a range of toy and gifting products.
* Lead negotiations and manage key contracts, including pricing, terms, and promotional agreements for FOB and DTR models, ensuring the best possible outcomes for the company.
* Monitor and analyse market trends, competitor activity, and consumer behaviour to inform sales strategies. Provide regular performance reports to senior management.
* Work closely with the marketing, product development, and operations teams to ensure alignment on product launches, promotional campaigns, and distribution strategies.
* Leverage your deep understanding of local markets to adjust strategies and ensure successful market penetration across different European countries.
What are we looking for?
* At least 5+ years of experience in international sales within the toy or gifting industry, with a focus on European markets.
* Strong experience working with FOB and Direct-to-Retail (DTR) models and managing relationships with retail chains and distributors.
* Established relationships with key retail partners and distributors across Europe, with a proven ability to build and maintain long-term business partnerships.
* Demonstrated ability to drive sales, negotiate effectively, and close deals with international retailers and distributors.
* Understanding of the cultural and business nuances across different European markets, with experience tailoring sales strategies accordingly.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and influence senior stakeholders both internally and externally.
* Proven track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets, with a focus on sustainable growth and profitability.
