We have a number of significant large-scale developments, regeneration schemes and infrastructure projects that will continue to transform Doncaster.
We are in an enviable position of having an up-to-date Local Plan and continue to implement the development plan policies, including urban design policies to raise the bar in terms of securing a higher quality built environment across the City with higher standards required for new development. We are looking for an enthusiastic individual to be part of a strong, friendly and supportive multidisciplinary team, all of whom work hard towards developing our planning service and delivering high quality developments. Someone with a few years of experience, or equally, if you’re just starting your career and are enthusiastic about the planning and urban design profession, we can offer you a dynamic and supportive environment in which to develop your skills and experience, with the post having opportunities to progress from grade 7 to grade 8. This post operates under a Career Grade/Grading Assessment Scheme, with starting salary and progression through the grades being linked to experience, qualifications and level of work being undertaken.
