There is a school that is looking for a passionate and dedicated Year 6 Teacher to join their team. This is an exciting opportunity to support students during a critical stage of their primary education, helping them develop academically and personally as they prepare for secondary school. This role begins March 2025.
Duties as a Year 6 Teacher:
* Plan and deliver engaging lessons aligned with the Year 6 curriculum
* Prepare students for SATs and support their transition to secondary school
* Assess, monitor, and track student progress, providing constructive feedback
* Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment where all students thrive
* Work collaboratively with parents, carers, and colleagues to support student development
* Encourage students' confidence, resilience, and independence
Ideal Year 6 Teacher:
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
* A degree in Education or a related subject
* Experience teaching Key Stage 2, particularly Year 6, is desirable
* Strong classroom management and organisational skills
* Passion for teaching and inspiring young learners
* Ability to differentiate lessons to meet the diverse needs of all students
