Commissioning Technician - EC&I

S: Up to £41.23 per hour Umbrella inside IR35
The Commissioning Technician is responsible for ensuring that safety remains the highest priority on the project, with a continued commitment towards achieving Zero Harm. The technician serves as a role model in all aspects of safety, adopting a proactive approach to nuclear, radiological, conventional, and environmental safety.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Conduct all testing activities throughout various stages of commissioning.
2. Contribute to the production of test documentation.
3. Assist in the initiation and implementation of Field Observation Bulletins (FOBs) and Technical Queries (TQs).
4. Perform testing activities for witnessing by third parties.
5. Apply and remove Temporary Commissioning Aids.
6. Record supporting data in accordance with test requirements.
7. Utilize completions management systems to manage commissioning activities.
8. Perform commissioning work in line with the project schedule.
9. Participate in multi-discipline design reviews and collaborate with the engineering team.
Essential Experience & Qualifications
10. Engineering Background: Time served or equivalent experience in an engineering discipline, such as piping or electrical.
11. Education: Preference for ONC or equivalent qualification, or a demonstrated route to achieve this qualification.
12. Project Commissioning: Proven experience in project commissioning.
Security Clearance
13. Must have the ability to obtain BPSS, P4 pass, and meet any other client security requirements.
