We are looking for a People Assistant to join our fantastic People & Culture team here at WCF Ltd Based at our site in Brampton, Cumbria, we are looking for an enthusiastic and detail-oriented individual to join our People & Culture team, and the wider WCF community. This role will be working with the Head of People and Culture and People Partners (2), providing administrative and system support for a wide range of activities across the employee lifecycle. The role: The main duties for this role will include: Supporting with onboarding of new recruits to the WCF team, ensuring all new starter documentation is issued and returned Producing contracts of employment and undertaking referencing for all new recruits Responding to queries from the central HR mailbox Providing administrative support for ER processes/meetings as required Supporting our leadership teams with contract change paperwork Maintaining our HR systems with starters, leavers and amendments, regularly producing data analysis on system usage Supporting with wellbeing and engagement initiatives, including the creation of pulse surveys using our chosen platform ("Great Place to Work") Maintaining our filing and systems, ensuring good housekeeping and adherence to GDPR Producing parental leave documentation Supporting with off-boarding of employees including the collation of exit survey feedback. The ideal candidate would have: Previous experience in a similar role would be advantageous, however, full training and support will be provided. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. High level of attention to detail. A proactive and curious attitude towards work. Strong organisational skills and the ability to prioritise effectively. Experience of GDPR and good filing/housekeeping of records. Good Microsoft Word and Excel as well as data analysis skills. Previous experience of working with a hybrid team would be advantageous.
