Salary: £12.52 Per Hour (£16,932.50 per annum)
Working Hours: 26 Hours per week, Monday to Thursday, 2pm – 8pm (5.5 hours per day, 30 minute Break) and Friday, 2pm – 6pm (4 hours).
Are you an organised and detail-oriented individual with a strong background in warehouse operations and administration? We are looking for an Operations Admin and Warehouse Operative to join our team on a part-time basis and manage the driver returns process, ensuring accuracy in paperwork and efficient warehouse operations. This role will see you working closely with our operations, customer support, and finance teams, balancing administrative duties with hands-on work in the warehouse.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Administration and Driver Returns Process:
1. Manage the driver goods returns process, ensuring accurate recording and processing of all returned items and paperwork.
2. Liaise with customer support and finance teams to handle credit notes, missing or damaged items, and booking in requests.
3. Process returned products and manage proper stock handling.
4. Perform general administrative tasks, including document management, data entry, and report preparation.
5. Book third-party collections and coordinate with transport partners.
6. Investigate discrepancies like picking errors, conduct stock checks, and provide feedback to relevant departments.
7. Ensure stock levels of equipment and health & safety supplies are maintained and replenished.
8. Provide clear handover notes to ensure smooth operations between shifts.
2. Warehouse Duties (as required):
1. Assist in picking, packing, and preparing stock for dispatch according to order specifications.
2. Load and unload goods safely and efficiently.
3. Ensure proper labelling and storage of products.
4. Maintain cleanliness and safety in the warehouse.
5. Operate warehouse equipment, such as forklifts and pallet jacks, to move stock.
6. Participate in warehouse audits and ensure compliance with health & safety regulations.
What We're Looking For:
1. Proven experience in a warehouse or logistics environment with a focus on administration and warehouse processes.
2. Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
3. Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively across departments.
4. Comfortable with both administrative and physical warehouse tasks.
5. Knowledge of Health and Safety regulations.
6. Experience with stock management systems (such as NAV) is a plus, but not essential.
