Read on We are working with one of the most iconic brands in the housebuilding industry as they look to appoint an Architectural Manager for their North Region from offices based in Westhill, Aberdeen. Reporting to the Senior Design Manager, you will work alongside external consultants, building control bodies and suppliers to ensure delivery of technical information in line with the company standards and values. As part of an award-winning team, you as their in-house Architectural Manager will be responsible for managing all client relationships, including liaising with external agencies and consultants and taking responsibility for the successful delivery of multiple projects. Day to day responsibilities of the role will include: Creating and management of construction details and specification. Engaging fully in the determining, agreeing, and ensuring the Architectural team are delivering site start programmes and development programmes within agreed timescales. Prepare and issue design review drawings, keeping revisions in line with the project brief. Ensure all design work meets building regulations, fire codes, and health & safety standards. Attending and leading client meetings and public information sessions. Working closely with and coordinating external consultants. Managing the timely review and sign off GCI's and marketing data issued by Sales and used in preparation of Marketing developments by the Architectural team. Pre-qualifying, procuring and appointing external consultancy services as required in the delivery of the project. Conduct detailed feasibility studies and support planning applications with strong presentation materials. Excellent knowledge of AutoCAD and Revit knowledge would be advantageous.
