Role Purpose
The post is based within the Learning Disability Service Business Support Team, SBC HQ, Newtown St Boswells This team is largely responsible for the administrative support to managers, clinicians and professionals within the integrated service. Business Support provide administrative support to the Social Work staff, NHS clinical staff and Health and Social Care managers within the community learning disability team and work closely with those working in the service from partner agencies (Police and NHS Borders and Support Services). Duties undertaken include:
• Telephone Answering
• Letter typing and distribution
• Minute taking and distribution
• Use of SBC applications such as Mosaic, Business World, Intranet, One Drive and Microsoft packages
• Use of NHS applications such as EMIS and MS Teams • Scanning and filing • Attendance at meetings e.g. Business Meeting
• Being first point of telephone/email contact to the public and Professionals
• Monitoring of Team mailboxes
• Completing Mosaic Incoming Work and tasks on EMIS
