Principal systems engineer

This is a senior leadership role where you'll own the full V-lifecycle. From early requirements capture through to integration, verification, and certification. You wont be doing the hands-on engineering, but youll be the technical glue between customers and internal teams, ensuring solutions are robust, compliant, and delivered with precision.

Key Responsibilities Principal Systems Engineer

* Lead systems development from concept to launch, aligning with technology roadmaps and programme goals.
* Own requirements capture, decomposition, and traceability across the full development lifecycle.
* Act as the primary technical interface for customers, suppliers, and internal teams.
* Ensure compliance with aerospace standards including ARP4754A, ARP4761, DO-178C, DO-254, and DO-160G.
* Support certification planning, risk management, and cross-functional design assurance.
