About People We Support:
We support a gentleman in his late 30s, and he is looking for strong, patient, confident support workers who can show good initiative and have a good senses of humour but can also be calm and supportive in time of behaviours of distress.
He is a very polite gentleman, and he enjoys going out and about in his car and when he can, head out on the odd walk. He has a passion for cooking and has a particular interest in Bangladeshi and Jewish foods and culture. When he is not out and about he likes to watch a good movie!
We are looking for experienced support workers who have worked within a forensic setting as well as autism, mental health and learning disabilities
What will I be doing?
You will be supporting people to live their lives how they choose and to achieve their personal goals.
Support can include varying degrees of personal care, some manual handling requirements, medication administration, budgeting, cooking, cleaning, and laundry.
You will also need to provide emotional reassurance when experiencing behaviours of distress - full positive behaviour support training is provided but previous experience is essential.

This will include working both week days and weekends flexibly.
Rotas are provided at least 4 weeks in advance to allow a healthy work life balance- something we're really passionate about!
