Project Manager – ERP Implementation (NetSuite)
Contract: 6 Months (Minimum 2 days onsite per week)
Rate: £400 - £550 per day (Outside IR35)
Location: Remote/Hybrid

We are currently supporting a client who is seeking an experienced Project Manager to oversee the implementation of a new NetSuite ERP system. This is a contractor role, outside IR35, for a six-month duration, requiring at least two days onsite per week. The ideal candidate will have over 10 years of experience in successfully managing ERP implementations, with a focus on NetSuite.
About the Role
In this role, you will be leading a major transformation, helping our client optimise their processes, infrastructure, and people for a seamless transition to NetSuite. The successful candidate will have excellent organizational, leadership, and communication skills to coordinate with key internal stakeholders, senior management, and the implementation partner.
Key Responsibilities
1. Process Analysis & Planning:
Conduct 'As-Is' and 'To-Be' analysis sessions with key stakeholders.
Define project objectives, strategies, and success metrics, ensuring alignment with business goals.
Develop and present a comprehensive project plan, including key stages and timelines.
2. Team & Stakeholder Management:
Build and manage a cross-functional project team, clearly defining roles and responsibilities.
Collaborate closely with senior management to ensure new processes align with company goals.
Establish a steering group for high-level project oversight.
3. System & Process Readiness:
Validate system requirements to ensure they meet both 'As-Is' and 'To-Be' specifications.
Ensure infrastructure readiness for NetSuite’s cloud-based environment.
Review business blueprints and ensure timely, high-quality delivery of project outputs.
4. Implementation & Testing:
Oversee data migration planning, ensuring data is cleansed, validated, and ready for migration.
Prepare and maintain sandbox environments for testing, alongside creating UAT scripts.
5. Training & Change Management:
Develop and implement a training program to ensure staff are ready for the new system.
Manage change management strategies to address staff concerns and promote engagement.
6. Risk & Progress Monitoring:
Develop risk management plans and monitor issues to ensure timely resolution.
Provide regular updates on project progress, adhering to budget and timeline constraints.
Required Skills & Experience
1. 10+ years of experience managing ERP implementations, ideally with NetSuite.
2. Strong background in Oracle ERP/NetSuite implementations and integration.
3. Experience with consulting firms (Big 4, Accenture, Capgemini, etc.) is highly desirable.
4. Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with experience presenting to senior leadership.
5. Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver results under tight deadlines.
6. Expertise in risk management, budget oversight, and change management.
7. Available immediately and able to commit to a minimum of two days per week onsite.
