We are proud to be working in partnership with an innovative, modern manufacturing business based in Rotherham to recruit for a Technical Engineer on a full time permanent basis. This client boasts an extremely healthy order book, excellent working environment and future progression plans for their employees. Working as a Technical Engineer you will be reporting into the Technical Manager you will be responsible for;
1. Co-ordinating and implementing foundry techniques inclusive of Titanium and air techniques as well as thermal processing
2. Ensuring technical sign offs are completed
3. Writing and complete Finishing Route Cards
4. Approving heat treatment techniques obtaining support from Technical Director
5. Attending and contribute to the Techniques meeting
6. Assisting in developing, improving, and monitoring manufacturing processes
7. Compile and keep up to date logs of product development and data analysis for key customer issues/trials within shared access
8. Being the main technical lead in supporting projects for customers, inclusive of customer project meetings
9. Directing and control workloads, ensuring they are manageable, and the completion dates adhered to
10. Interpreting and present data to management or senior colleagues
11. Responding to enquiries.
This role would suit someone who is currently working as a Manufacturing Engineer or Technical Coordinator within a heat treatment, foundry, steelworks or castings environment.
You will;
12. Have knowledge of foundry and heat treatment techniques
13. Excellent IT skills
14. Have the ability to take on technical information
15. Be competent working with an internal database
16. Ability to learn and develop technical product knowledge
17. Strong literacy skills
18. Ability to work independently
This is a new role within the business as part of their growth and future projected plans.
