Job Title: Project Lead Location: Aberdeen Contract: 12-Month, Outside IR35 Working Environment: 100% Office-Based About the Role: We are seeking a proactive and experienced Project Lead to join our team for a 12-month contract. In this role, you will work closely with the project sponsor, cross-functional teams, and assigned project managers to ensure the successful planning, development, and execution of various transformational projects. This is an exciting opportunity for an individual with a background in manufacturing and a deep understanding of machine purchases and specifications. Key Responsibilities: Collaborate with the project sponsor and project teams to define scope, deliverables, required resources, work plans, budgets, and timelines for new initiatives. Ensure a comprehensive understanding of machine specifications for transformational projects. Manage project and program teams to optimize return on investment, delegating tasks and ensuring cross-project initiatives are coordinated effectively. Identify key resource requirements from internal teams and external vendors to ensure seamless project execution. Develop and manage project budgets, taking full accountability for delivering against established business goals and objectives. Work alongside other program managers to identify risks and opportunities across multiple projects within the department. Proactively identify, evaluate, and mitigate program risks, producing regular program reports for management and stakeholders. Manage the program budget, risks, and issues, implementing corrective actions as necessary. Coordinate interdependencies between various projects and manage resources across them. Maintain effective communication with stakeholders, ensuring alignment of deliverables with overall program objectives. Ensure proper documentation management, including the creation and maintenance of program initiation documents. Skills and Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or a related field. 5 years of experience in a management role, ideally within the manufacturing industry. Strong leadership, organizational, and time management skills, with the ability to facilitate cross-functional teams. Exceptional working knowledge of change management principles and performance evaluation processes.
